כי זה אפקטיבי, כי זה מוסיף לנפח האש, כי הפעלה נכונה חוסכת חיים של החיילים בשטח, כי זה נותן מענה לירי משטחים שולטים, כי הגיע הזמן באמת שיתחילו להשתמש בהם... להמשיך?

מרגמות זה אחד הכלים המוצלחים והבסיסיים ביותר בסיוע ללוחמי חי"ר. חבל שצה"ל לא משכיל להשתמש בהם בחוכמה לא רק בעימות הנוכחי אלה גם בעימות עם הפלסטינאים.

אבל בכל אופן אני מודה שאני לא מבין גדול בעניין.

תגידו,יש למרגמה הזאת איזשהם כלי הכוונה למטרה? כמו זווית,כיוון גובה וכדומה? כמו שיש לדוהרים.

כן. אפשר להגיע לדיוק רב עם מרגמה. זהו כלי קל לשינוע, שניתן להביא אותו לנקודות אליהן רכב לא מגיע.

תוסיף קצב אש גבוה, רדיוס פגיעה גבוהה ועלות כללית נמוכה ותגיע לסיבה שהמרגמה הינה כלי פופולארי בכל הצבאות.

ממשיך את שירותו בכל כך הרבה צבאות לאורך תקופת זמן כל כך ארוכה כשהתאמתו למתארי הלחימה המודרניים נעשית יותר ויותר רלבנטית.
ישכילו מפקדי צה"ל להרחיב את השימוש בו.

לפני 15-20 שנה דיברו ש"לידת הנשק המונחה יביא למותה של המרגמה". בפועל, יש כיום עושר רב של תחמושות (הן חכמות והן רגילות) והמרגמות עצמן משמשות בכל זירה אפשרית. מספיק להסתכל על פרוייקט קרדום כדי להבין שגם צה"ל רואה שימוש עתידי ומושכל(?) לכלים אלו.

גם כשלא היה הרבה, היה לנו הכל

חוץ ממה שנכתב בעניין צה"ל ...

כיום המרגמות ( בעיקר בקוטר 120 מ"מ\) זוכות לעדנה מחודשת בעולם כולל מס' פיתוחים מעניינים בארץ שמשום מה צה"ל לא ממש מביע בהם עניין מיוחד וחבל !

בין הפיתוחים המעניינים אפשר לציין את ה 120 מצרר, מונחית לייזר ודגם המיועד לצילום שדה הקרב ממבט על.

אולם עדיין לא זכיתי לתשובה על שאלתי. עד לפני מספר שנים הופעלו מרגמות אלה במסגרת חת"ם. ידוע לי שהמרגמות יצאו משירות בגדודי החת"ם, כולל המרגמות הקלות 120 מ"מ. אז באילו מסגרות מתופעל נשק זה, שהינו כלי מעולה לסיוע בטווח בינוני ליחידות חי"ר.

שלי ככה שלא ממש אכפת לי...

דווקא היה אירוע בודד בתחילת האינתיפאדה בה מחלקת המרגמות של מסייעת שקד ירתה על מוצב פלסטיני סמוך. חבל שלא מחזירים לשימוש את המכמ"ת הנצחי או לפחות את פלגת ה 160 של המל"י.

לא מצליח להבדיל...

אבל זווית הצילום מקשה על הזיהוי.
