More than 4,000 thousands people have lost their lives and hundreds were injured due to stray bombs and mines since the Maoist insurgency started in Nepal. NA has been starting to clear mines in located places since last year and already cleared more that 200 mines. At least 4-5 years time period is needed to clear all mines in Nepal.
