I wasn't sure if I should mention the special rubber used in the T72 bazooka plates because I only recently learned this and didn't know if the information had been cleared by the censors yet (if not, the managaers can erase this post
Anyway, as it was found to be of complex substance with extrodinary elastic and ballistic protective characteristics that the local chemists were unable to reproduce, all the rubber plates were removed from the tanks, shredded and then woven into a special fabric known as "gummi hafala." to apply on helmets. At first only the most elite units were able to get this but over time other wise soldiers with good connections were able get there hands on these
Thus soldiers with the wide black gummi hafala covers on their helmets not only look cool but are also provided with superior ballistic protection capable of stopping even RPG penetration (but not the tandem VR). Thus my past criticism of this usage was wrong. Being easy to detect is actually a small price to pay for such benefits
PS, As my parents used to say, "Please, don't encourage him"
