Not exactly.
What I was trying to say was, use the wide angle to create a bigger aspect of the perspective.
Now, because a wide angel will include MORE details in the photo, try taking the shot from a closer position. No cutting needed.
Adding an example for the differences between 35mm and 18mm
Note that I was regarding to the A/C as my QUE possition, trying to start my frame from the same spot.
Of course, that using the 18mm means I have to stem a bit forward, coming closer to the A/C so I won't see the details infront of it.
