Pros: great product and great distance range.
Cons: none whatsoever!! read "other thoughts" so you do not go through
the hassle i did. linksys support isn't the greatest, so avoid it at all costs!!!
Other Thoughts: --***CAVEAT***-- On the linksys website they show
only firmware v. 4.30.9 for the WRT54GL v1.0. As this was the only
version shown on linksys.com I was led to believe there was only one
edition of the WRT54GL router. After upgrading the firmware from 4.30.7
to 4.30.9, communication through the router was non-existent. -Router
connected with ISP -wireless cannot send or receive internet requests
-wired also cannot send or receive internet requests Calling linksys
support I found out that my WRT54GL version was v1.1 (not shown on
linksys.com) and that firmware 4.30.9 is not compatible with WRT54GL v1.1
