1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne)

1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) is responsible for the six-phase Special Forces Pipeline training. To accomplish this mission the Group divides the responsibility into several battalions. The 1st Battalion is responsible for all field training in the SF Pipeline. The 3rd Battalion conducts language training and 4th Battalion conducts all military occupational specialty (MOS) training.

The Special Forces Training Pipeline requires a commitment of 1-2 years of intensive coursework based on the soldier's military specialty training. Although a soldier is authorized to wear the coveted “Green Beret” at the end of Phase IV, he still must complete all six phases of training before being awarded the Special Forces Tab and is assigned to an Operational Detachment – Alpha (ODA). 2. ההערה לגבי בטיחות: אין ספק כי כל מי שנתקל באימונים של יחידות מהעולם, כולל האמריקנים, הבחין בהתיחסות הבטיחותית הנמוכה שלהם, בטח בהשוואה אלינו. במו אוזניי שמעתי תדרוך הוראות בטיחות שמסתכם במילים "אהה, כן, תשתדלו לשים לב לרקע שלכם...". לדעתי, הדבר אינו נובע מחוסר מקצועיות אלא מעודף מקצועיות; החבר'ה האלה חיים ונושמים מטווחים וכלי נשק באופן קבוע. אחד מהם התבטא לפניי באומרו "הוראות בטיחות? אם אתה אדם שצריך להזכיר לך לא להניח אצבע על ההדק אתה לא אדם שראוי לשאת נשק...". אפשר להתווכח עם האמירה הזאת. אני תומך בה בכל ליבי... בסופו של דבר יש לזכור כי הנשק ירה בדיוק לאן שיכוונת אותו, כך שאם היורה מקצועי, אין מניעה לעמוד בקו הירי כמו שראינו. ניזכר ב"בית המוות" של ה- SAS...
3. יש לשים לב לנתון קריטי: מאחר ועל מס' 1 הותקנה מצלמת קסדה, ניתן לראות כמה שברירי שנייה יקרים חולפים עד שהלה יורה באוייב שבחדר. סביר להניח שבזמן אמת הוא לא היה שורד...
4. מעניין עד כמה שיטת הפריצה שלהם שונה משלנו (פתיחת פינות וכיו"ב...)

פעם התפוצץ אחד כזה כמה מטרים לידי בגלל אי הבנה בין כוחות,יכול להיות יעיל למדי..
כל עוד יש להם יתרון הפתעה בכניסה לחדר יש להם סיכוי.

בכלל העבודה בארץ היא הרבה יותר מאובטחת ומסודרת, גם מבחינת קו יורים, חלוקת מטרות וכו'

ולא משנה כמה מקצועי אתה קשה לי להאמין שמישהו יהיה באותו סיטואציה באמת ולא יפגע בחבר שלו בטעות, לפי דעתי זה חוסר מקצועיות לא עודף שלה

תראה איך העסק עובד ביחידות אחרות. נושא הבטיחות בארץ אינו נובע מעודף מקצועיות אלא מחוסר שלה.

אם מישהו לא הבין, הכוונה שלי היא כי העובדה שהוראות הבטיחות שלנו נמשכות לפעמים יותר זמן מהתרגיל עצמו אכן מעידה על חוסר המקצועיות שלנו בהשוואה ליחידות אחרות בעולם...

בוא נגיד שמה שרוב האנשים יודעים לגבי - "איך יורים בארץ" לא בדיוק מבינים על מה הם מדברים.
גם לתרגיל הכי פשוט יש הוראות בטיחות וגם לסיטואציות הכי מסוקנות יש הרטבות. פשוט לא על כולם סומכים.
תמנעו מלהגיד דברים כמו "בארץ עובדים הרבה יותר מאובטח" וכדומה.. נשמע מאוד לא רציני כמשהו זורק מושגים באויר.
