האם הכוונה למערכת מיקרו שאין לה מערכת הפעלה?

כי לפי מה שהבנתי, הפונקציה main מחזירה ערך מסוג int למערכת ההפעלה.

אני חושב שהמורים לא יסבירו לי ובכלל לא יגיעו לנושא הזה... (לכן כנראה לא אדע על זה)

רציתי לדעת כי אני כותב קוד C למערכת מיקרו שעובדת (כמובן) ללא מערכת הפעלה.
כביכול מערכת ההפעלה זה הקוד שאני כותב בלבד, רק הוא זה שפועל.
המורים בכל מקרה לא ידייקו ללמד לכתוב לפי התקנים (גם כי הם לא מכירים אותם), העיקר שזה עובד ב- Borland...

לכן רציתי לדעת האם למקרה הנ"ל זה void, כי לפי ההיגיון זה צריך להיות void main.

זה לא קריטי אבל אני סקרן...

נכנסתי לעמוד של תקן ANSI C וכתוב שם בצורה מפורשת ש-freestanding implementation זה למעשה קוד C שירוץ ללא בקרה של מערכת הפעלה.
