Truce with Israel ends midnight - Islamic Jihad
GAZA, Dec 31 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance group announced Saturday that the ceasefire deal or truce with Israel declared by the Palestinian factions in Cairo last March will expire by midnight.
Jihad said in a statement released here today, any dialogue on a future truce will not be viable unless it gives answers on interest of our people in this dialogue, foremost end of the occupation, release of the prisoners and halting the continued aggression on our people.
About 13 factions and political groups declared in Cairo last March a truce with Israel for one year after Israeli and Palestinian officials announced an end of armed attacks and military offensives. (end) zt.
