I'm trying to use Remote Desktop from a computer which is connected to the internet via an Edimax AR-6004+ router.
All my efforts to either ping outside or use RDP failed.
Can you suggest how to configure the router to enable ping andd rdp?

are you sure that the router is indeed blocking? did you try ping to IP? for instance - ping 82.80.248.160

are those the only things that doesn't work, or those are just the things that you tried? if you only try those two, please try other internet services, like browsing HTTP, etc.
