4. How do I write data files 2 GB in size or larger?
Use the DVD (UDF) format to write 2 GB or larger files to DVD. The standard data DVD format is DVD (ISO) and the ISO standard does not allow any file over 2 GB in size to be written to DVD.
For Nero Burning ROM: Simply launch Nero, close the wizard, go to the ´New Compilation´ window and select the DVD (UDF) icon. Then just select ´New´, drag over your 2 GB or lager files and burn to DVD.
Nero Express is a limited version and does not support the DVD (UDF) format, so you can not write data files larger than 2 GB using this software. If you want to burn files 2 GB in size or larger, please purchase an upgrade from Nero Express to Nero. Visit our online shop for information and pricing.
