כמובן שיש לי את הפונט Arial.ttf והתמונה samp.png באותה התקיה.

משום מה זה מחזיר לי את השגיאה הבאה:

השגיאה אומרת לך שאתה מנסה לקרוא לפונקציה שלא קיימת ושמה: imagettftext
אבל הפונקציה כן קיימת באתר הרשמי:
1) מה גרסת הPHP שלך?
2) האם בGD שהתקנת \ מותקן יש אפשרות לעבודה עם TTF?

תריץ GD_INFO ותחזיר לנו את התוצאות יתכן שכאן זאת הבעיה...
אם אין לך אפשרות לשנות זאת בשרת => מה שקורה בשרתים חינמיים...
אני אישית השתמשתי באיזה פונט בפורמט GDF
(Vגודל שלו קובע) והשתמשתי בפונקציה IMAGESTRING...
אבל כמובן ששימוש בTTF עדיף רק חייב תמיכה בו...

זהו לא שרת חינמי,זה של חברת אחסון Fore..
הוא תומך בכל הגירסאות של הphp כך שהבעיה לא מפה.

ובכל זאת הפונקציה לא מוגדרת... מה גורם לך לחשוב שזה קשור למשהו אחר?

בדף הפונקציה בPHP.NET כתוב שכדי להריץ את הפונקציה חוץ מספרית הGD אתה צריך שתיהיה מותקנת בשרת ספריה נוספת שנקראת FreeType

What is FreeType 2?
