הפרלמנט הלבנוני העביר חוק המאפשר את חזרתם של אנשי צד"ל שעברו ב2000 לישראל.כרגע אין פרטים או התנאים של חזרתם.

Around 7,000 Lebanese fled Lebanon following the May 2000 withdrawal of the Israeli army from South Lebanon. Most of those who fled were members of the South Lebanon Army, an Israeli proxy militia. General Michel Aoun proposed the above draft law The parliament convened on Wednesday at 10:40 am, National News Agency reported, adding that there are 22 draft laws on its agenda for discussion. In addition to the above draft law one of the draft laws is related to providing compensation to Lebanese people freed from Syrian prisons

הצד"לניקים לשעבר ומשפחותיהם המתגוררים בישראל מעמידים לממשלת מיקאטי אולטימטום של חודשיים לפתור את עניינם ולא יגישו תביעות משפטיות .

BEIRUT: Lebanese refugees in Israel reportedly threatened to resort to international courts if the government of Prime Minister Najib Mikati failed to grant them amnesty. A report published Tuesday by pan-Arab newspaper Al-Hayat said the few hundred Lebanese families residing in Israel since the end of the 1990 Civil War have threatened to sue the Mikati government if they are not “honorably repatriated.” “We will give them two months, until year’s end, after which we will resort to international courts to demand amnesty and to guarantee our financial and moral rights if our repatriation did not take place in an honorable way,” said a letter issued by Lebanese refugees in Israel.
