צבא לבנון מאשר לקיים את הפגנות "יום האדמה" במבצר הבופור הנמצא צפונית לליטאני,בהפגנה ישתתפו פלסטינים ואירגונים פרו-סורים,מותר להניף רק דגלי פלסטין ולבנון,כל מי שיבצע פעולה אחרת ישא בתוצאות.

The Earth Day celebrations that are set for March 30 will take place at the Beaufort, or Shqeef, Castle in southern Lebanon, reported the National News Agency on Saturday. Abdul Malek Sukkariyeh, the media coordinator of the rally, announced that the Lebanese army had officially permitted the staging of event. The rally, held by pro-Syrian Lebanese parties and Palestinian factions, will head towards the castle in the Nabatiyeh region. Sukkariyeh hoped that the “participants, who come from throughout Lebanon and the Palestinian refugee camps, would commit to only lifting the Lebanese and Palestinian flags.”

העתונות המקומית מדווחת על הגעתם של "פעילים" זרים היום יום רביעי שמתכוונים להצטרף ל"חגיגות" יום האדמה.

120 אוטובוסים כפול נניח 50 ראש באחד סה"כ 5100 מפגינים + 100 שיצעדו ברגל ויגישו כתב דרישה להחזרתם לאדמותיהם לידי נציגי יוניפיל.

5200 + נניח 2000 מתפלחים זה יהיה ארוע ששרותי הבטחון ישלטו במצב.

זה כמובן המתווה הרשמי הלבנוני,אם גורמים כלשהם יחליטו לשבור את ההבנות עם הממשלה הלבנוני ויוניפיל (ואני מניח גם עם צה"ל) הסיפור עלול להיות שונה ועצוב.

אגב מק'דח מכחיש בכל תוקף שאירגן את ה"צעדה" לאחר שנפגש עם נציגים איראנים,חלק גדול מהפלסטינים מחרימים את הכינוס כי "הוא רחוק מפלסטין וניתן לראות את האדמות רק בשטח קטן"

לפי הדיווח הגיעו רק מאות עד עתה,באורחים גם 100 זרים ביניהם שני רבנים מארה"ב.
אזור הארוע מאובטח "הדוק" ע"י הצבא הלבנוני כולל בידוק בתוך הכפר ארנון.

50 סוררים שניסו להגיע לגדר נבלמו ע"י הצבא הלבנוני.

More than 3,000 Lebanese, Palestinian and foreign demonstrators marched to the Beaufort Castle in Nabatiyeh on Friday to mark Land Day, an annual protest against discriminatory Israeli land policies. Waving Palestinian flags and singing Palestinian national songs, the protestors performed the traditional dabke dance as security forces kept them from moving beyond the Crusader-built castle that lies 15 kilometers from the Israeli border. The protestors also attended together noon prayers.
