BEIRUT: March 14 MPs launched a fierce attack on the Cabinet of Prime Minister Najib Mikati at Parliament Tuesday, slamming its approach to the turmoil in Syria and its performance in addressing socio-economic demands and security concerns in the country. For his part, Mikati defended his Cabinet during the assembly, the first of a three-day session to discuss government policy, arguing that it has preserved stability while admitting certain shortcomings in carrying out administrative appointments.
