יוצאים די הרבה - אני הוצאתי למ"כים מוקדם 7 אנשים (ממחלקה של 35). בסוף מסלול (של אז - 14 חודש), יצאו עוד 12.
הקורס עצמו הוא קורס די נדרש, ומנסים להוציא מקסימום אנשים לקורס. השיבוץ בסיומו הוא לפי צורך - מפקדי טירונים, מפקדים (וחיילים) בפלוגות וותיקות, תפקידים שונים במז"י. נדיר מאוד שמ"כ יחזור למחזור שלו, אבל יש לא מעט מקרים בפלוגות הוותיקות שמפקדים על חיילים וותיקים יותר.

בסופו של דבר המפקדים שלך יושבים ושולחים אנשים לקורס מ"כים בעיקר בגלל חוות הדעת שלהם על החיילים, ומנסים לסדר את זה עם האילוצים השונים.
כאשר רציתי לשלוח חייל מצטיין לקורס מ"כים (שלא היו לו נתונים), נאלצתי לשלוח לקורס מ"כים חיילים לא מתאימים (לדעתי) עם נתוני קצונה. בתוצאה הסופית, נוצר מצב ששני חיילים שרציתי לשלוח לקורס, לא יכלו לצאת כי גמרתי את ההקצאה (שגם כך שלחתי כמות גדולה יחסית). אז יש אילוצים רבים. בסופו של דבר צריך לזכור דבר מאוד בסיסי - מה שיקבע אם תצא או לא תלוי בך בעיקר.
