הדרוזים בלבנון לא פראיירים בכלל, ויש להם בטן מלאה על השיעים, וגם על המארונים (אם הולכים הרבה אחורה).

לדעתי, וממש לא אכפת לי לאכול את הכובע, להרוג את ג'ונבלאט יביא למלחמת אזרחים בלבנון.
הוא סוג של למל"מ לשאר המפלגות והעדות, ומתנדנד לפי כיוון הרוח הפוליטית של אותו רגע.

הוא משנה את עמדותיו באופן מרשים במהירותו בהתאם לשינויים במערכי הכוחות. בתחילה הוא התנגד באופן חריף לסוריה ולחיזבאללה, ובייחוד בזמן השלבים הראשונים של מלחמת לבנון השניה כשהחיזבאללה היה יחסית בשפל. כשהחיזבאללה יצא מהמלחמה כביכול מנצח, הוא מיהר להתיישר לצידו ולצד סוריה. ועכשיו, כשסוריה בשפל הוא שוב יוצא נגד החיזבאללה. האיש הוא פוליטיקאי משופשף ביותר שראוי לפרס ג'בל דרוז להתיישרות לימין החזק.
