הכנתי מסד נתונים mdb פשוט ובניתי דף ASP.NET עם VB שיציג את הנתונים. עכשיו על המחשב שלי בעזרת דימוי שרת וכל הפרצודורה זה עובד והכל טוב יפה. העלתי את הקבצים לשרת BRINKSTER שם יש תקייה מיוחדת לשם מעלים את המסד נתונים( בשביל הגנה שלא יכולו להוריד את הקובץ) אני משנה את הכתובת והוא רושם בעיות.. מה זה יכול להיות? איך אני יכול לדעת מה הנתיב של המסד נתונים? האם יש תחליף לפקודה server.mappath בASP.NET?
ראיתי כל מיני דוגמאות ששמים בהתחלה // אבל זה לא עוזר.. כיצד אני רושם תחביר נכון למסד נתונים?

זה הבעיה שהשרת רושם, בנתיב אין בעיית איות ואני לא מבין מה צריך להיות מחובר?

מה הבעיה בשורה הבאה?

The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file 'E:\sites\www28\opstudy\db\users.mdb'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data. למה השרת לא מצליח לקרוא ובשרת על המחשב שלי כן?על איזה הרשאות הוא מדבר?

כמו שזה נראה, מדובר בהרשאות שונות שהם נותנים לתיקיה שבה אתה מיקמת את מסד הנתונים. בד"כ המטרה היא שלא יוכלו להסב נזק למסד הנתונים ע"י ניצול פרצה אצלך בקוד.
אינני מכיר את ברינקסטר ולכן אינני יודע מה הם בדיוק עשו.. אבל הייתי מנסה לפנות אליהם. הConnection String שלך (למרות שאתה משתמש בOLEDB!!) נראית תקינה..

לא הבנתי מה הקשר בין OLEDB? במה עדיף להשתמש בשביל אקסס?

OLE DB זה פשוט השיטה בה אתה מחובר...

בכל מיקרא, אני חושב שהבעיה היא שצריך ";" אחרי המיקום... זאת אומרת כך:

לא משנה זה היה כנראה בעיות הרשאה בתקייה ספציפית, העברתי את המסד למקום אחר וזה עבד..

יש עוד בעיה הפונקציה הזאת במחשב שלי עובדת, ואם אני טועה בשם משתמש והסיסמא הוא מגיב אבל באניטרנט זה עושה בעיות
