בו מוסבר איך ליצור מונה מבקרים באתר שלי, כאשר אדם בעל כתובת IP זהה שיעשה רענן לדף - המונה לא יעלה...מקווה שעד כאן מובן.
מקסימום תקראו מה שכתוב כאן:
Hit counter always counts whenever a user open a page. If a user open the same page for 10x, hits counter counts as 10x too. This will not indicate actual visitors, where no matter how much a user visits a page, he only be counted as one visitor.
Imagine a hotel guest. Hit counter counts how many time a guest enter the hotel, if he enter the hotel 10x a day, hit counter counts 10 guests. This is very wrong. Meanwhile visit counter only count one guest, which is very true.
So, how do we create a visit counter? We must know how to identify a user if he is actually have visited our site (or pages) today. This can be done by two ways:
- The simplest and easiest is to use cookie. When a user visit our site for the first time, we set a cookie in his browser. The next time he visit our site (in the same day) we recognize him by his cookie.
- The other method is to recognize his IP address. When a user visit our site for the first time, we take a note of his IP, and put it in our database. The next time he visit our site (in the same day) we recognize him by his registered IP in our database.

אין לי ניסיון בנושא הזה ולכן אני מבקש הסבר בהתחשבות שאני לא מנוסה בכאלה דברים...
