The system specifications listed above are what I used to test these six graphics cards. In total there are ten graphics cards, though only six of them are unique. Three of the manufacturers offer overclocked versions of the GeForce 6800GS cards, therefore I took their standard card and overclocked it. This was done to give a clearer view of where these overclocked GeForce 6800GS cards stand and if they are worth the price premium. All the benchmarks were run at 1280x1024 using a number of AA/AF quality combinations.

Unfortunately, I was not able to acquire all of these overclocked GeForce 6800GS cards. I wanted to show the performance difference between the standard eVGA card and the “CO Superclocked” version for example. Therefore, I purchased the standard eVGA e-GeForce 6800 GS and overclocked it to meet the CO Superclocked and OC SE specifications. In an effort to keep things simple I have listed all the specifications, namely core and memory frequencies on the next page. |
