known issues

Graphic User Interface

* As you use the Beta, you may notice that certain features in the GUI are inactive (represented in light gray). Stay tuned - there are more coming attractions you can expect to find in Ad-Aware 2007’s final features and settings!
* Several pages of the graphic user interface (the Log Files main page and the Log Files page in the “Scan Results” screen) may flicker when you try to resize the window.
* When resizing the GUI, some components within the main panel may not align properly.
* After making changes to the Web Update settings, the dialogue box does not appear until you leave the Web Update menu tab (go to another section of the GUI).
* GUI blocked from closing during Ad-Aware scan.
* Any tree-view applications (for example, the Quarantine manager) will remain open when you navigate away and return to the application.
* The Scheduler tab shows random data in the ”Task” field.

Program

* Quarantine of tracking cookies being corrected.
* The GUI crashes if multiple error messages are received from the service.
* On occasion, the Scheduler may fail to remove scheduled tasks.
* The GUI loses connection to the service when Windows goes into hibernation/sleep mode.
* Web browser cleaners need to be de-activated in order for TrackSweep to work. (“Unload browser during scan” setting needs to be checked).
* The quarantine restore function is not stable.
* Note: The entire Lavasoft Detection Database has not been converted to the new format, therefore it is not detect at the same rate as Ad-Aware SE.
