סירפד ציין שזה מבצע משותף של האמריקאים והפולנים. אולי הוא נתן לו לנסות ?

אם "האמריקאי נתן לו לנסות" זה מחזיר אותי לשאלה המקורית לא? האמריקאים עדיין משתמשים ב M 79 ?.....

M14, M79, קולט 0.45 - כל הכלים הישנים האמינים חוזרים בגדול. לא בקנה מידה מלא ולא בכמות המקורית, אבל יחידות מיוחדות בהחלט נהנות מהם.

הרי אחד החסרונות שלו היה בעצם העובדה שהוא שימש למעשה כפק"ל אישי והחייל שנשא אותו לא ממש יכל לשאת גם נשק ארוך מה שהביא לפיתוחו של מטול ה M 203 בשלב קצת יותר מאוחר, אז מה הרעיון בלהחזיר את הגלגל לאחור ?
