Ten, light armored, patrolling vehicles were handed over from Multinational Division Central South (MND CS) to Military Police Company from 8 Iraqi Army Division.
Commanding Generals: MG Othman Ali Farhood for the 8 Iraqi Army Division and MG Bronislaw Kwiatkowski for MND CS took part in this ceremony today – September the 6th and signing necessary documents.
Vehicles were previously used by MND CS. Taking advantage of logistic support here in Iraq and from Polish Land Forces all vehicles were entirely renovated. Spare parts were delivered from Poland and renovation was done by Polish soldiers in Camp Echo.
These patrolling vehicles increase MP capabilities in conducting patrols, establishing check points and taking other measures to maintain the security in 8 Division area of responsibility.
