The sun was shining on our supreme empire

It was the times before those dark guitars and smoking clouds

The times witch you only read about in fairy tales

When you could find bunnies instead of hounds.

It just wasn't enough for their queen, she wanted more

One day she broke our alliance, thus undoing our empire

My words of beg and sorrow did no good

As she and her new ally went to war for my last shire.



Have to stay strong! Gotta hold on!

Never will they break our spirit; they had already lost the war!



The fighting were harsh, many have died

Sometimes it was just pointless to continue fighting

Deep inside I just knew one thing they hadn't

They will fall! The will lose their mighty.

My country was in ruins, all seemed lost

My best fighters died while my wizards had fled

The only thing witch kept me alive

Was knowing our spirit never could be dead!

The sun just rose on another day of hell

But some thing was different from those days

Something I couldn't really tell

But the fog disappeared together with the mace.

A farmer told me the war was over, they gave up

Whatever I knew finally came true

As I saw soldiers returning home

After losing most of their friends on the crew.



It's time of peace today, a couple of years after the war

The queen still tries to win back my trust

Hoping to rebuild her self destroyed empire

Wishing to dig out those feelings from the war dust.

It's time of peace but nobody is smiling

The pain in our heart is just too great

Even though nobody today is dieing

Even though our country has no threat.
