Leonardo Da Vinci was born on April 15.1452. In the Tuscan hill town of Vinci that in Italy. His father was a rich lawyer and his mother was a farmer. In the middle of 15th century, his family decided to immigrate to Florence city, that there was a center of the art in Italy.
Leonardo Da Vinci was Italian erudite person. He was one of the biggest form the Renaissance artists. Leonardo had a lot of skills that were for his help during his life, some of them were: scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, painter and even more. His inventions were famous and greats thank to his infinite curiosity. During Leonardo's live, he was respected as the biggest painters in the history. Because of it, people gave him a nickname - "The Reissuance's Father".
At the years 1514-1515 Leonardo de Vinci Lived in Vatican that in Rome, after one year he moved to France and there he worked for the king Francis. Till his death on May 2.1519.
Leonardo Da Vinci painted number of portraits, but the only picture that survived for more than 500 years, it is a picture of Mona Lisa.
The Mona Lisa or in the Italian name "Lisa Di Nolado Garardini", is actually a real person, she was a wife of merchant from Florence. That became to the most famous image in the world .Because of the aptitude of the artist Leonardo. Leonardo Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa due to the request of her husband, Francesco Del Giocondo that wants the image of his wife; because of the birth their son and the new house that they build. As a result she got a nickname "La Gioconda" that means a woman of Francesco Del Giocondo.
At the year 1502, the beginning of the renaissance in Europe, Leonardo Da Vinci began to draw the portrait of Mona Lisa in Florence, and finished to paint after 3 years in France. Several years before his death. At the first way the picture was very unusual and source to the many imitations. It's possible to say that the portrait was the recognition image of the renaissance.
After that Leonardo Da Vinci finished to draw the Mona Lisa, He was need to deliver her to Francesco Del Giocondo, but Leonardo was very connected to the picture and loved her in exceptional way and instead of to deliver her he continue to repair, to renovate and to change her during 10 years until she became different from the source. Due to his unusual love to the picture, he was taken it with him to every place that he went. Till he decided to sold him to the king Francis 1 of France.Since then became part of the national French collection
In 21 August 1911 the Mona Lisa returned to the head of title in Italy and France when Louvre employee Vincenzo Peruggia stole it by entering the building during regular hours, hiding in a broom closet and walking out with it hidden under his coat after the museum had closed. Vincenzo Peruggia believed that the Mona Lisa must to come back to Italy, "to home", during months all the people thought that the picture be lost forever. However after 2 years that the thief succeeded to hide and to evade, a police of Italy caught him because of he tried to sold the portrait, to the gallery that in Florence
In the year 1914 the Mona Lisa was returned to the Hlobr, museum that in France, after decision of a government of Italy. And since then the portrait was under very heavy security and everything in order to promise that something like this will not return again.
