Sasukes fate revealed (ספוילרים)
"Sasukes fate revealed  The priority of Hokage is to protect the village. That means using the best means available. There are 2 factions against this, Akutske and Orichimaru.
What's the best way to find and defeat your enemies? Infiltration and spying.
While the show was in sabbatical the last couple of weeks, I watched some old episodes, covering Sasuke leaving Konoha. While I watched them, I began to wonder, and noticed some interesting points, that lead me to believe that either willingly or unknowingly, he is being used to infiltrate Orichimaru's gang, and Itachi is doing the same with the Akutske (spelling not required to be correct  )
Some facts back this up,, and all are contained within episodes 120-131, while Sasuke flashes back to his earlier years. First; is the fact of how fast Itachi became ANBU. Everyone knows that is the elite group of Shinobi. They are like the USA's FBI or CIA, highly trained agents, who are used to do very secret and sensitive missions. Itachi told Sasuke that their clan formed the police, and they were responsible for protecting the village. There was also hints that they did secret duties, as well, which reinforces the ANBU aspect.
Next, is the fact that while Sasuke found him standing over his parents' bodies, there was nothing shown to prove he did any killing. There was only suggestion. Along with that, Itachi used the sharingan to cast an illusion on Sasuke, where it's assumed that he saw Itachi killing his clan. I believe Itachi had to do this, so that Sasuke truly believed his brother did kill them. Otherwise, Sasuke would not, and any of Konohas enemies might learn that, and Itachi's deep cover would be revealed.
Lastly, was the talk between brothers in ep 131. Itachi told Sasuke that there were only 3 people who had the potential to use the rare sharingan ability. He and Sasuke are 2 of those people. That means there's 1 person, who has yet to be revealed (as far as I know anyway).
I also find it hard to believe that the Hokage would send only Chenin, on the mission to rescue Sasuke, against known Shinobi class ninja. I think this was because they wanted Sasuke to infiltrate Orichimaru. In the process, they know he could gain immeasurable power.
I realize these are weak points. And, I have some cloud of doubt on Itachi. Is he part of a mission, or is he truly evil. After all, he did partake in the kidnap and death of Gaara."
